Police Arrest a Parking Enforcement Officer for Violating VCIN Rules

Yesterday, Alexandria Police Internal Investigations officers arrested Parking Enforcement Officer Cletus Okoro, a 46-year-old male and member of the Department since May 11, 1998, for violating Virginia State Code 18.2-152.5 Computer Invasion of Privacy. Okoro had violated the Virginia Criminal Investigation Network (VCIN) rules and regulations when he used his Department issued computer inappropriately. This violation is a class 1 misdemeanor and Okoro will appear in court on July 26.

Parking Enforcement Officer Okoro is assigned to the Department’s Traffic Unit. He has been placed on Administrative Leave pending the outcome of his criminal trial as well as an ongoing administrative investigation.
