Alexandria Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Hotlines Open 24/7

The Alexandria Office on Women operates two hotlines for victims of sexual assault and/or domestic violence 24 hours a day, seven days a week, even during government holidays.

The sexual assault hotline number is 703.638.7273. The domestic violence and stalking hotline number is 703.838.4911. Alexandria residents are encouraged to call the hotlines, where they can get help and information in confidentiality.

The Alexandria Office on Women provides shelters, individual counseling, support groups, education and court accompaniment to help victims through its domestic violence and sexual assault response and awareness programs. The Domestic Violence Program also provides shelter for victims and children fleeing violence in their homes.

The Alexandria Office on Women also has a website where residents can send a confidential email for help and information, www.alexwomen.com.
