Alexandria Real Estate Tax Payment Due June 15

The first half of the year’s Alexandria real estate tax payments are due by June 15. Alexandria residents have four options to pay: mail, walk-in, touch-tone phone, or internet.

Payment in the form of check or money order can be mailed to:

Treasury Division, 301 King St, City Hall, Room 1510, Alexandria, VA 22314.

Residents can also pay in person at the same address. Payments are accepted Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to noon.

The telephone number for credit card payment is 1.800.2.PAY.TAX. Enter jurisdiction code 1007 when prompted. A convenience fee applies.

Residents can pay electronically using eChecks at no additional cost at the City’s web site, www.alexandriava.gov.
