Alexandria Community Services Board Seeks Volunteers

The Alexandria Community Services Board seeks a volunteer who is willing to give one or two hours a month to serve as the Authorized Representative of an Alexandria adult with mental retardation. The Authorized Representative will assist this person in making decisions about treatment plans. Duties include: monthly contact with the client or the client's case manager to keep informed about the client's situation, attendance at bi-annual treatment plan sessions, and signing the treatment plan.
