Alexandria Graduates Second Community Emergency Response Team

Graduation of the City of Alexandria’s second Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) class will be held on Feb. 28, at 1 pm in the Alexandria Fire & EMS Training Academy, 1108 Jefferson St., room 2. The academy is located in the south wing of the Lee Center.

The team is composed of civic minded residents and members of the business community who are trained to assist with emergency management during natural and man-made disasters in the Alexandria community. The graduation will consist of a test, a disaster simulation, an exercise critique, followed by remarks from Mayor Euille and other City officials.
