Alexandria Small Business Guide Available

Are you considering starting a new business in Alexandria? Relocating your existing business to the City? The Planning Department has prepared the Alexandria Small Business Guide to provide businesses with information about the City’s licensing and permitting system.

The City recognizes that small businesses are the backbone of the local economy, and is dedicated to assisting them. Working with small businesses on technical assistance issues, the City published the guide to give the new business entrepreneur information about the approvals process, as well as key contacts and resources to make the process easier.

Copies of the guide are available for free in the Department of Planning and Zoning, Room 2100, City Hall, or by calling 703.838.4666.
