Alexandria Offers Free DASH About Bus Service The fun side of the Potomac is now even “closer” to the nation’s capital with DASH About, Alexandria’s free weekend shuttle bus service that operates all year round. The free weekend shuttle bus service operates from the King Street Metrorail Station to Market Square in Old Town Alexandria. This is a great way to get your holiday shopping done stress free. The bus runs on Fridays from 7 pm until midnight, Saturdays from 10 am to midnight, and Sundays from 11 am to 10 pm. The bus stops frequently along King Street and anyone can hop on and off at any stop to enjoy all that Old Town has to offer. For more information, call 703.370.3274. # # # |
