City of Alexandria Offices Remain Open on Veteran's Day

City of Alexandria government offices, libraries, and recreation centers will remain open on Veteran’s Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11.

Alexandria City Public Schools will be closed for a teacher workday.

State offices in Alexandria, including Circuit, General District, Juvenile and Domestic Relations District courts, the Clerk of Court Office, and the Alexandria Health Department will be closed.

DASH bus will operate on a regular weekday schedule while Metro buses will operate on a Saturday schedule. The Metro rail schedule will be modified after stations open at 5:30 am and close at midnight.

Enforcement of parking restrictions will be lifted at metered spaces as well as time restrictions in residential permit parking districts and other areas with signed parking time limits. All other parking regulations will be in effect.
