The City of Alexandria is holding a Public Works Equipment Show on Nov. 5 from 11 am to 1:30 pm at T.C. Williams High School, 3330 King St. Join Alexandria’s public works employees to learn about programs and see equipment demonstrations. Demonstrations will include how public works employees keep Alexandria’s streets clean, how they pick up recyclables, how they plow the roads during a snow storm, and how they install new traffic lights.
