| The Dedication Ceremony for Alexandria’s first Skatepark, 3540 Duke St., will be held Nov. 1 at 3 pm. The first of three stages of equipment has been installed at the park and is available for the public to use. Saturday’s celebration will include open skating for roller blades and skateboards, music, a presentation to the Mayor by the “Friends of the Skatepark”, and refreshments.
