The Alexandria Park and Recreation Commission will hold a Public Hearing for Planning District I residents on Oct. 16 at 7 pm at Lee Center, 1108 Jefferson St. A regular meeting will follow.

Residents of Planning District I, which is composed of residents living in the zip code area 22314, are invited to attend and discuss issues relating to their Planning District. Residents will be able to provide input on the FY 2004 - 2005 budget for the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities, and provide input on a multi-generational center at Chinquapin. Residents who are unable to attend may send written comments to the Park and Recreation Commission at the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities, 1108 Jefferson St, Alexandria, VA, 22314.
