The Alexandria Office of Transit Services and Programs will host a "Let's Talk Telework" luncheon on Nov. 5 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Embassy Suites Windsor Room, 1900 Diagonal Rd., across from the King Street Metro station. Alexandria businesses can attend the free luncheon to learn more about how to make telework a part of their business and how telework can help to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality.

Local businesses, City of Alexandria representatives, and regional telework specialists will discuss
incentive-based telework programs available in the region. The luncheon will also identify informational and consultative resources for starting or enhancing a telework program.

A panel of Alexandria businesses who are currently participating in incentive-based telework programs will talk about how they use telework as an innovative business strategy.

Reservations are required. For more information, contact Shauna Brown at 703.519.3400 x179 or e-mail shauna.brown@ci.alexandria.va.us.
