Alexandria Farmer's Market Open for Business During The Alexandria Festival of the Arts

The Alexandria Farmer’s Market, held in Market Square, 301 King St., is open for business as usual this Saturday, Sept. 13, the first day of The Alexandria Festival of the Arts. The market’s hours are 5 a.m. until 10 a.m.

King Street will be closed from Union to St. Asaph Street during The Festival of the Arts on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 13 and 14. The King Street intersections with Lee, Fairfax, Royal, and Pitt Streets will be closed both days during the festival beginning at 10 a.m. The festival ends at 5 p.m. both days.

Farmer’s market customers are encouraged to shop early in order to avoid the large crowds expected for The Festival of the Arts.
