Three Farmer's Markets in the City of Alexandria

Three farmer’s markets now operate in the City of Alexandria. Shoppers can quickly immerse themselves in either of these outlets where farmers sell produce and residents and visitors enjoy a connection with Alexandria’s past.

The Old Town Market Square site is thought to be one of the nation’s longest operating sites of its kind. For many years, since being established in the 1700s, it was the primary way local residents obtained dairy, fish, fruits, and vegetables.

Visit each of these markets and participate in a local and national tradition in the City.
