Alexandria detectives have confirmed the identity of yesterday’s homicide victim. The deceased is Victor Thomas Nimley, a 39-year-old man from Laurel, Maryland. Charged with his murder is Momolu Sirleaf, a 30-year-old man of no fixed address, who is being held without bond at the Alexandria jail.

The vehicle stopped near the Glebe Road exit and two subjects attempted to flee. Police apprehended both nearby.
The subjects were transported to Alexandria police headquarters and interviewed. Police determined that the passenger in the Lexus was a witness and he is no longer being detained.
