Four Mile Run Restoration Kickoff

What: Arlington County and the City of Alexandria joint press conference to announce the kick-off of a collaboration to restore and redevelop the Four Mile Run Watershed.

- City of Alexandria Mayor William D. Euille
- Arlington County Board Chairman Paul Ferguson
- Army Corps of Engineers Major David L. Pedersen

When: Monday, July 7, 2003

Where: Four Mile Run Park in Alexandria, located off of Mount Vernon Avenue near the intersection with South Glebe Road, just south of the Arlington County line.
Directions from Washington: Take Route 1 south, turn right on South Glebe Road (Route 120), turn left on Mount Vernon Avenue and left into the park (across the street from a shopping center).
Directions from Arlington: Take the first right off of South Glebe after Gunston Community Center. The park is the first left off of Mount Vernon Avenue across from a shopping center.
