Alexandria Launches eNews You Can Use

On June 16, 2003, the City of Alexandria will launch a new information service via the internet called eNews You Can Use. eNews is designed to provide rapid dissemination of information about the City of Alexandria to subscribers, at no charge, via email. Anyone can subscribe to receive email updates from the City of Alexandria on topics they select from a menu.
Subscriptions are currently available on these topics: City News Releases, City Council Agendas, the monthly schedule of City Government Meetings, Board and Commission Vacancies, and the Daily Crime Report. Additional topics will be added later this year.
When citizens subscribe to eNews You Can Use, they can be assured that their email address will be used ONLY for the eNews You Can Use subscription service. Citizens’ email addresses will not be shared, published or sold to anyone.
To subscribe to eNews You Can Use, visit the city’s website at www.ci.alexandria.va.us and click on the eNews You Can Use icon.
The City of Alexandria is committed to providing accurate information to citizens in a timely and useful manner. The new eNews You Can Use service is another feature of the City of Alexandria’s egov services on the City’s website.
