Public is Invited to Presentation
Of Expansion Plans for Duncan Library

The public is invited to learn about the exciting plans for a 5,000-square-foot expansion of the Duncan Library at a presentation scheduled for Thursday, June 26, 7:30 pm. The presentation will be made at the Mt. Vernon Community Elementary School cafeteria, 2601 Commonwealth Ave., Alexandria.. The expansion of the library, which is located at 2501 Commonwealth Ave., will include a naturally-lit adult reading area and expanded children’s area, plus a second Library entrance.

Representatives of the City’s General Services Department, Alexandria Library, and Larson Koening Architects will be on hand to receive citizen comments on plans for the expansion.
