Alexandria Police Seeking Missing Woman, Baby;
Boyfriend Sought for Questioning

The Alexandria Police Department is searching for a missing 24-year-old woman and her 7-month-old daughter. Natasha D. Quinn and her baby, Jacinda, were last seen at the women’s shelter in Alexandria on Thursday, April 17. The next day, shelter staff noted Ms. Quinn was absent. She and her daughter were free to come and go, but when Ms. Quinn did not return to collect her clothing and baby formula and diapers, shelter staff contacted police.

Police are also seeking Joseph L. Lancaster, Jr., Ms. Quinn’s companion and Jacinda’s father, for questioning. Though foul play is not suspected, police are concerned for Ms. Quinn and Jacinda’s safety. Detectives began investigating a report of child abuse when Ms. Quinn brought Jacinda to Alexandria Hospital on Friday, April 4. Ms. Quinn stated that Lancaster had assaulted Jacinda, who was treated at the hospital for bruises and released.

Natasha D. Quinn is described as a medium-complected black female, 5'6", 140 pounds and visibly pregnant. She has family throughout the Washington, D.C., area, and may be staying on the streets or in a shelter in the District. Jacinda Quinn is a fair-complected black female, 2'6", 25 pounds, with chubby cheeks. They may be in the company of Joseph L. Lancaster, Jr., a 26-year-old black male, described as unshaven, 5'6" and 150 pounds.

Anyone knowing the location of any of these people is asked to call Detective Irv Ellman at (703) 838-4711.
