Alexandria Police Investigate Suspicious Death;
Man with Gunshot Wound Found Dead in Car
The Alexandria Police Department is investigating the suspicious death of a man in the 300 block of South Reynolds Street. Today, at 8:34 a.m., police received a report of an unresponsive man in a car. Police determined that the man was deceased and appears to have suffered a gunshot wound.
The victim’s identity is being withheld at this time pending notification of next of kin. An autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death will be performed by the state medical examiner.
