Alexandria Offers Community Computer Classes

Alexandrians of all ages who need to brush up on their computer skills can come to the Nannie J. Lee Memorial Recreation Center, 1108 Jefferson St., for free computer classes.

The basic computing class is designed to prepare you with the basic technical and educational skills required to compete in today’s job market. Instructed by Tomorrow’s Black Men Organization, this class meets on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 12 pm.

The basic internet class is designed to prepare you with the basic skills to navigate your way through the internet. Learn how to use search engines, browse sites, and learn short cuts to get you where you want to go. Instructed by Amy Tobin, this class meets on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
