First Virginia Bank is Robbed


The Alexandria Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating a robbery that occurred tonight at the First Virginia Bank at 233 South Van Dorn Street in Alexandria. There were no injuries.

At approximately 7:04 p.m., the suspect entered the bank and approached the teller. The suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money and the employee complied. The suspect then fled from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned female, approximately 5'5", with a medium build. She was last seen wearing a long grey coat, tan hat, black pants, black shoes, and a black scarf.
