Commonwealth One Credit Union is Robbed


The Alexandria Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating a robbery that occurred today at the Commonwealth One credit union at 4875 Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria. There were no injuries.

At approximately 11:45 a.m., the suspect entered the credit union and approached the teller. The suspect, who did not display any weapon, demanded money and the employee complied. The suspect fled from the credit union with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 35 years old and 5-feet 7-inches tall. He is clean-shaven, and was last seen wearing a waist-length black jacket, black pants, white shirt and black tie.
