Missing Child Located in Washington. D.C. with Mother,
Both in Good Condition


Alexandria police have located the missing mother, Lisa Renee Hill and her 11-month-old infant child, Lyana Hill, in Washington, D.C. this afternoon at approximately 4:45 p.m.. Alexandria detectives received a telephone call from the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C. late this afternoon, after the mother with her child voluntarily walked into the 7D precinct in Washington, D.C.

After seeing a photograph of herself and her child in the Washington Post today, Ms. Hill responded to the Metropolitan Police Department. Alexandria detectives responded to the 7D precinct and took custody of both mother and child. The mother, Lisa Renee Hill, was arrested by Alexandria detectives and charged with Parental Child Abduction, a class one misdemeanor. The infant, Lyana Hill, was turned over to Child Protective Services.
