City of Alexandria Announces Location Change
for October 26 Council Retreat

The Saturday, Oct. 26, Alexandria City Council retreat, previously scheduled for the Catherine Lodge of the Winkler Botanical Preserve, will now be held in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 301 King St., 2nd floor. The retreat will begin at 11 am and is open to the general public.

This change in site was made in order to avoid removing any law enforcement personnel from the Alexandria community.

The retreat will focus on the City’s long term plans for parks and recreation facilities and programs throughout Alexandria, as well as the City’s fiscal position.
