Monday, May 27, in Observance of Memorial Day
City Government Offices Closed
City SchoolsClosed
State Government Offices (including the Circuit, General District, and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District courts, the Clerk of Court Office, and the Alexandria Health Department)Closed
LibrariesClosed
Trash CollectionTrash will not be collected on Monday. Collection throughout the City will be delayed by one day.
DASH BusWill operate on a Sunday schedule
Police DepartmentAdministrative Offices Closed *
Recreation CentersCity Recreation Centers will be closed except for Chinquapin Recreation Center, which will be open from 6 am to 6 pm.
    Old Town Pool, 1605 Cameron St, and Colosanto Pool, 2701 Commonwealth Ave will be open from 11 am to 7 pm.

    *HOV restrictions will be lifted on Route 1 and Washington St, and parking meters throughout the City will be free.
