City of Alexandria to Provide Residential Parking Permits at Lee Center

The City of Alexandria will now provide “Visitor,” “Guest,” and “Business” residential parking permits at the Nannie J. Lee Recreation Center, 1108 Jefferson St, from 6 to 9 pm, Monday through Friday, except holidays. The City has made these permits available at the Lee Center in order to provide residents with an additional location to obtain the parking permits outside of normal business hours.

The Lee Center staff is providing this service to City residents in addition to their regular work responsibilities. Accordingly, there may be a short delay in the issuance of permits.

“Visitor,” “Guest,” and “Business” residential parking permits are still available at the Police Department, 2003 Mill Rd, in the evening, on weekends, and on holidays; and at the Treasury Division, City Hall, 301 King St, Room 1510, from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and from 9 am to noon on Saturday, except holidays and holiday weekends.

The permits are only available to full-time residents of one of the City’s residential parking districts. Residents are reminded to bring proof of residency, such as their driver’s license or utility bill, showing their name and address, when applying for the permits.
