Public Hearing to Address Name Change at
Alexandria Black History Resource Center
Deferred Until Later Date

Alexandria, VA — To ensure sufficient community input regarding the proposed name change for the Alexandria Black History Resource Center, the item has been deferred from the City Council Public Hearing scheduled for January 26, 2002. The item will be re-docketed at a later date for further consideration.

Center staff will hold an informational meeting for citizens regarding the proposed name change on Monday, January 21, 2002 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Center’s Parker Gray Gallery. The Center is located at 638 North Alfred Street, Alexandria.
