AFRICAN AMERICAN CLASSICAL MUSIC SERIES PRESENTS CHAMBER ORCHESTRA MUSIC CELEBRATION The Alexandria African American Classical Music Series will present an American Celebration of Chamber Orchestra Music on Saturday, Nov. 10, 8 p.m. The free concert will be held at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial, 101 Callahan Dr. Free tickets can be picked up at the concert or large groups can reserve tickets by calling 703.838.4356. The evening’s performance will include music by George Walker, Howard Swanson, Aaron Copeland, John Lewis and others. The event is co-sponsored by the Alexandria Convention and Visitors Association and the Black History Resource Center. ## |
