The F&M Bank at 1717 King Street is Robbed


The Alexandria Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating a bank robbery that occurred today at the F&M Bank located at 1717 King Street in Alexandria. There were no injuries.

At approximately 9:35 a.m., the suspect entered the bank and approached the teller counter. The suspect passed a note demanding money and the employee complied. The suspect then fled from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was displayed.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his late 20s, 6-feet 2-inches to 6-feet 3-inches tall, with a stocky build. He is medium complected and clean shaven with short hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and a red ball cap.
