CommonWealth One Credit Union is Robbed

The Alexandria Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating a robbery that occurred today at the CommonWealth One credit union at 4875 Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria. There were no injuries.

At approximately 8:50 a.m., the suspect entered the credit union, approached the teller and displayed a handgun. The suspect demanded money and the employee complied. The suspect fled from the credit union with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately six feet tall, with a medium build. He is medium-complected and clean-shaven, and was last seen wearing a red baseball cap and an unknown color shirt with a bold horizontal stripe across it.
