Alexandria Police Identify Homicide Victim, Seek Public’s Help

Alexandria detectives have identified the deceased man found early Sunday morning in the 1600 block of Cameron Street as Elvis Beale, a 43-year-old City resident. The Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy yesterday and determined the cause of death was blunt force trauma.

A motive for the homicide has not been determined and no suspects have been identified.

Today, detectives will be seeking assistance from the public in the neighborhoods surrounding the murder scene. They will be distributing flyers with the victim’s photo and asking for help from anyone with information regarding Mr. Beale’s death.

A Crime Solvers reward of up to $1000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case.
