The City of Alexandria's Commission on Information Technology is sponsoring a Community Conversation and Status
Report on the Year 2000 Computer Problem on Thursday, October 28, at 7:30 p.m., at the Minnie Howard Ninth
Grade Center Auditorium, 3801 West Braddock Road, Alexandria.
Janet Abrams, executive director of the President's Council on Year 2000 Conversion, will be featured as the guest
speaker. Representatives from the City, Virginia Power and other utility companies also will make presentations.
