City Seeks Christmas Tree Donations
The City of Alexandria is seeking donations of large evergreen trees for the City's Christmas holiday displays at Market Square, Lower King Street, and King Street Gardens Park. The City is looking for well formed spruce, fir, pine or other suitable evergreen trees that are 20 to 30 feet tall.
Trees that are accepted will be removed by the City at no cost to the owner during the third week in November. The stump also will be ground out.
