Alexandria City Council Meeting Canceled; Special Meeting to be Held on Friday, March 12

Due to the severe winter weather, tonight's Alexandria City Council meeting has been canceled. Docket items originally scheduled for the regular 7:30 p.m. meeting will be covered at a special meeting on Friday, March 12, at 2:30 p.m.

The City of Alexandria has also canceled tonight's reception to honor the Alexandria Technology Achievement Award finalists. This reception will not be rescheduled.

All City recreation centers will close at 6:00 p.m. today, and all evening recreation classes have been canceled.
