What items are funded by outside vendors for wellness initiatives?

Response:

The United Health Care contributions toward the City’s wellness initiatives in the past included issuing fitness trackers for utilizing an interactive wellness portal, use of personal health assessment, health fairs and training sessions. The City is able to use these wellness related dollars for any of the following categories as well:

• Biometric/Health Screenings
• Flu Shots/Clinics
• Food for Health Fair Events
• Health Assessments (Paper or electronic)
• Health Coaching
• Health Fairs
• Literature
• Massage Therapists
• On-site Behavioral Change Classes
• On-site Educational Classes
• Exercise/Meditation/Relaxation Classes
• Pedometers/Wellness Supplies
• Promotional Give-a-ways
• Smoking Cessation
• Wellness Portal for Program
• Wellness related consulting services/classes
